With All Due Respect

Got this game early after release.... huge issues relative to bugs ..... Stuck with it for a while but dropped it as unplayable .... the Matrix gang have made great progress since then but still a non play for me .... and in fairness need to explain why.... all of us have certain expectations/constraints relative to a game. I wanted to embrace this game in the worst sort of way .... but one of it's strengths worked against my expectation from the outset w/o me realizing it. "Active time per turn" ... This game shines as an active participation per turn approach. Similar to BtR (which I couldn't get into either). I don't like having to spend the "entire" turn glued to the computer in order to follow the turn (at least till I retire ;>). And active turn participation is this games strength. So my past criticism is misplaced for this game. My compliments to Shannon with all the effort he has put in. ....
