Unless Italy decide to add some air power with naval bombing to the West Med then it will be the end of the action there.
So will Italy attempt something?

If you have a port that touches the sea zone, its friendly. Note that MWiF tells you: the Axis suffered an AX PX while the Allies only suffered an AX.ORIGINAL: warspite1
Right AX - the Indian fighter is shot down, as is either the Italian fighter or bomber. Its bye bye to the ugly Gabbiano...
The Italian pilot is swimming with the fishes. I am not sure about the Indian as I don't know what counts as a friendly sea zone.
I thought I knew how to play this game....

No bombers but leave the fighter. Manually input the next search numbers so nobody finds so you can move on.ORIGINAL: Orm

Is it too late to replay West Med naval combat so that Italian pilot is saved?
Bay of Biscay: German 6 point fighter initiates combat. Another 6 point fighter intercepts to box 1 and sub stays on bottom.
6 point fighter that initiates combat is front fighter, followed by 5, 6(4 range) and 4 point fighters.
Italian NAV is front bomber.

Not at all. Since it is only one sea area I will make an attempt to recreate it with a saved Italian pilot. [:)] I hope it succeeds since the Italian pilot was what worried me the most with the payment part of this operation. Would be nice to have that taken care of.Is it too late to replay West Med naval combat so that Italian pilot is saved?
But it will be a few hours, at least, before I will find the time.

Sounds great. I was worried that too, new NAV is coming to play in 2 turns with no pilot.

I am sorry but I do not think that there will be any Allied actions today. I have had a very long day and I feel exhausted and ready for bed. [:(]
When I get back to MWIF I will try and fix the 'pilot' issue. Then do the search and reinforcement of Bay of Biscay as directed above.
When the 'Bay of Biscay' searches are done, will Italy search in the East Med? If so, then Italy does not need to disorganize a ship since Italy already has intercepted in the sea area.
I hope you all have a nice evening. [:)] I know how I will spend it. [>:] [>:] [>:]

Searches in the Bay of Biscay were unsuccessful. (Axis rolled 5 and Allies rolled 6)
Although CW reinforced the sea area with a Hurricane from Spain.

So will Italy search in the East Med? (they already has a cruiser that can be used because of the interception)

Yes please.
RE: 4 player E-mail: A
In the morning mist HMS Liverpool use the newly installed radar to track down the Italian cruiser squadron. The Italians are taken by surprise when they suddenly find themselves under attack. A French cruiser was also hiding in the mist and joins the battle. The question now is whether the Italians can recover from their surprise and use their numerical superiority. (Axis rolls 10 and Allies 2)
