take me to the grand canyon or Appalachian Trail or almost anywhere else and i'm your traveling buddy

USA coast to coast on train would be nice, but not Disney or Vegas for that matter

Disneyland's RR around the park has (or had??) a simulated trip through the Grand Canyon, followed by a view of a dinosaur area. It was my favorite part of the whole park when I was a kid in the 1960s. I don't think they ever had the Appalachian Trail, though.
