Turn 42. Jul/Aug 1946. Allied #4. Actions / O-Chits.

Everyone but the US and CW passes (i.e., combat operations for the USSR, China/ChiComm are over).

The US and CW both play an o-chit to double that land attack factors.

Turn 42. Jul/Aug 1946. Allied #4. Western Allies, Japan.

This should be it. I'm passing with all sides until this turn ends and Japan is completely conquered.

Turn 42. Sep/Oct 1946. Conquest of Formosa.

Just for grins, I did play out another turn to see if Japan would indeed be completely conquered if Formosa falls.

I played this turn "straight up". The allies won the initiate (finally!) and got fine weather with weather rolls of 1 and then 2 in the first two impulse pairs. With this, the invasion and conquest of Formosa was a piece of cake.

The weather did turn on the 3rd weather roll and the turn ended on the third Japanese impulse.

Turn 42. Sep/Oct 1946. Complete Conquest of Japan.

Here it is ... Japan is completely conquered. The complete conquest of all axis powers did cause a mad exception that prevented me from saving the game turn after this point.

Turn 42. Sep/Oct 1946. NEI.

The CW did successfully carry out an amphibious landing that captured Batavia. Note that all Japanese units dissolved after the full surrender of Japan.

Well done!
If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.
