In my last two games against the Allied AI, in both games the AI decided to defend Warsaw and the Fortress Modlin with Garisson units. Which are easily swept out of their positions.

Please check this, it kind of looks like a "dumb" AI decision. I know from older games that the AI did a better job in earlier versions of the game.
