Sorry. I thought you had aborted the convoy.
Does Liverpool work? Without going through Bay if Biscay.
Otherwise Freetown will do.

The CP aborts to Liverpool.
In Biscay, Me-109's initiate the searching. Does the CW wish to add the Gladiator to the 0 or 1-box?

Axis commit their sub.
Searches: Axis 3, Allies 2. Both are successful and the Germans choose air combat. Does the Swordfish want to fly as fighter or bomber?

Air to Air is currently showing as -2/+3 in Germany's favour. Do the Allies wish to use their 2 surprise points at this juncture?

The Beaufighters bug out to clear the range for the fleet AA gunners. Do they wish a boost to their accuracy?

CW use the surprise points to decrease the 'air to sea' combat table.

The AA gunners put up a furious barrage (10, 9, 6) sending the He-115 back to base (it aborts to the Spanish coast, near Cadiz) and causing half of the Gabbiano's to ditch bombs. The remainder bomb ineffectually as a smoke screen obscures the target (2 surprise points took the A down to NE).
I presume the Allies stay for a second round?

Round 2
Axis commit subs again.
Searches: Axis 7, Allies 4. Combat ends.
Last up, West Med.
The aged battleship Giulio Cesare initiates the searching.
Do the Allies wish to add any air support? The Blenheim can make the 2-box, the Spitfire the 1-box and the others the 0-box.

I decline the French sub on the basis on no convoys.

Yes. Four box only.
The delay was because I considered avoiding combat. But I suspect that the French, and Warspite1, would not. [:)]
