About Campaign Series franchise.

Post by M4RT14L »

I have newly acquired CSME, and I certainly love same as JTCS, now Campaign Series Vietnam has started walking and this is my question, It is possible a Campaign Series set in the period of the "War Against Terrorism"? with scenarios in Irak and Afghanistan maybe with hypothethical WW3 scenarios, I would love a game with the features of CSME set in these timeline[:)].

Greets and thanks.

We actually have a long line of up games and/or DLC's planned (in no particular order):

Vietnam
Korea
East Front
West Front
Pacific Front
Cold War goes hot
Iran-Iraq War
African Bush Wars
Sino-Soviet Wars
Indian-Pakistan Wars
World War 1
American Civil War
and more!

Of course, it takes time to develop the order of battles and executables, but we'll be releasing them as soon as they are finished.

Two from that list will be DLC's for Middle East, the rest will be separate games.

I guess it is : Iran-Iraq War and Indian-Pakistan Wars, isn't it ? So we can hope that they will be the next to be available. It's a very good news :)

I think like M4RT14L that a DLC on the Lebanon war of 2006 and the current war in Syria would a be pretty good idea.

Close! Iran-Iraq War and the African Bush Wars.

Indian-Pakistan Wars will be a DLC of the Cold War game.

Jason,

First Vietnam, and now you plan to give us the African Bush Wars! Absolutely outstanding! Thank you very much.

BTW, Warhorse's WWI is excellent. Top quality.

The WW1 is a teaser, of course. We'll be doing that in the future as well [;)]

Indeed, I can't even come close to doing WW1 the justice the team will be able to do to it! I'm just glad to be able to give it some exposure before hand. Consider it sort of a demo?!

Any plans on putting together a modern day version with US forces and its Allies going after the various terrorist outfits out there?

In the far distant future, yes. There are a number of technological engine upgrades/processes that would need to be done in order to be able to represent the modern weaponry.
