It uses totally different doctrine than the US LRASM's stealthy approach. It just fly as high as possible then dive toward the target for terminal acceleration. Kinda like a ballistic missile, but smarter and smaller.

Sounds like a similiar approach as utilized by the Chinese CM-400AKG or the SY-400 missiles, both of which cruise at extremely high altitudes to both extend their range and evade enemy interceptors. Former is kinda an air-launched ballistic missile.

I used to made the Two Capes scenario for Chinese PLAN intrusion before, but discarded. Poor set up because Russia isn't involve with this.

The U.S. Navy's first littoral combat ship USS Freedom (LCS 1) experienced a casualty to one of the ship's main propulsion diesel engines (MPDE) on July 11 caused by a leak from the attached seawater pump mechanical seal that resulted in seawater entering the engine lube oil system.

Exclusive: Pictures of the First LRASM Surface Launch Test at Sea

Navy Recognition obtained from Lockheed Martin some exclusive pictures showing the first Long Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) surface-launch test at sea. The pictures show the LRASM being launched from a Mk 41 vertical launch system (VLS). Lockheed Martin first issued a press release about this test in July this year.

With at least 4 Burkes to load 200-300 of them, I don't think there is any current naval power except the USN themselves could intercept them all without a scratch. Japan will be extremely happy to buy them too.
