Labor squads union

Post by Stelteck »

Hi.
I'am checking the differents types of supports available.

I found something funny. A full RR construction brigade of more than 2000 men provide 5 construction points.

A sapper regiment of 1000 men provide 10 or more.

I'am not sure to understand why sapper are twice more effective in building for half the men. Did labor union forbid simple labor squad to work more than 35 hour or something like that ?

Construction means building fortifications, not roads. Engineers have bonus for that, construction units do not.

Thanks. Did sapper regiment, as construction brigade, used to boost entrenchment capability of nearby divisions ?

According to manual, yes, but i ask just to be sure.

I assume now that people built sappers instead of construction units.

If you man the front with construction units, at least truck losses should be light [:D]

Only sappers in a HQ now help to build forts if I remember well. Construction units are only for rail repair.

RR construction brigades can help to build forts when attached to fortified zones too.
