I once tried that in similar situation in Denmark, but I was not able to use arty to adjacent hex unless there was red arrows showing that crossing is possible.

I think that's wrong. I need to look into that.
Conflict with the unexpected: two qualities are indispensable; first, an intellect which, even in the midst of this obscurity, is not without some traces of inner light which lead to the truth; second, the courage to follow this faint light. KvC

You can use the ART during the ground support phase, not during the attack declaration phase.

Can I ground strike from that hex we were talking about?

I think we should reroll. Bay of Biscay and Cape St. Vincent are good targets now before CW brings escorts. And if we get really lucky Gibraltar goes OOS.

I would say use all points to air to air combat. We can't afford to loose Italian FTR and it would be nice to make them send another FTR

Italian Art in France will open up. How do the Germans want to play their ground-strikes?

Edit: Just the 6 factor Spit II in Gib.

German artillery fires in south. Does CW have Spanish fighter in range (3 hexes) if I attack disorganized MOT?

GOOD! Beaufighter is in West Med, not defending Gibraltar or in Cape St. Vincent. Let that thing fly there.

Edit: Italians can also shoot it down if they really want that [:)]

That would have been a result. At -4/+6, I'm happy with just getting an abort on the Nav.

German plans for the impulse:

Germany chooses combined

German fleet from Bordeaux to Bay of Biscay box 4.

If we put Gibraltar OOS, then I might ground strike. If Gibraltar is in supply, I do it next impulse when I have fighters there.

Germany rails MTN from Warsaw to Seville.

Germany uses all 6 moves to make good attack in south against Spanish isolated units. German units can do it alone, Italy can choose naval if they want. After this attack it is time to focus on Gibraltar...

Who initiated combat in Bay of Biscay? Sub was needed to do it next impulse.

Sorry, my mistake. The sub initiated this impulse.

I would imagine it's possible as the forces are pretty much in place and there isn't much left to move.
