Not much to report.

China - a couple of units move south of Kunming

USSR - aircraft rebase out of Persia to the Motherland and the 1st Karelian Front is disbanded and troops start to head for warmer climes(ish).

France and USA - nothing to report

Commonwealth - Wavell and an Infantry swap positions Tangiers-Gib and an infantry lands in Santander. A Gladiator moves to central Spain and a Spitfire joins Wavell in Morocco

Over to the Axis

On a 5 the intercept fails. The German fleet stops in the 4-box.

Italian sub sails to Biscay 1-box.

The Italians decline combat in the West Med, leaving 2 zones.

First up, Cape St Vincent.

The German Nav initiates the searching.

The Axis don't add any additional air support. How about the Allies?

Italians commit the sub.

Searches: Axis 7, Allies 4. No combat.

Bay of Biscay.

The Italian sub comes to periscope depth to take a peek.

Do the Allies wish to add any air support?

As the Allied planes scramble to Biscay, the Italian submarine dives to the depths but not before sending a sighting report to Berlin and Rome. This is matched by an urgent dispatch from scouting cruisers to the Admiralty.

Searches: Axis 2, Allies 2.

"Aircraft bearing Green 045."

Me-109's sweep in to strafe the Allied ships but cause little damage (the Axis choose Naval Air Combat).

Round 2

The Italian sub stays deep.

Searches: Axis 6, Allies 8. The German ships locate the Allied convoys (only 0-box included).

The Axis spend 4 of their 5 surprise points to go for guns. How do the Allies wish to allocate damage?

HMS Barham suffers penetrating hits to fuel tanks causing her Captain to break off the engagement and head for port. She'll be back in action within a few weeks. A's?

Great game! I'm following it with a great deal of interest. The axis had a hard time in France but the complete conquest and excellent progress in China seem to have tipped the balance a little bit toward the axis side.
