Drama is a not a very well known Yes album. Partially because it was recorded without Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman. However this is one of my favourites; there´s some kind of magic in it. To my mind Chris Squire, Alan White, Geoff Downes, Steve Howe and Trevor Horn were a well coordinated supergroup that sadly stayed together no more than one year.

Interesting. Will need a few more listens I think - but certainly a possibility.

Rome'S new album The Hyperion Machine

and also i recently found out about the group "The Mystery of Bulgarian Voices" - the albums have been around for a while and you can probably find their sound sampled in a lot of things. They are astounding! really amazing choir. The art, music and literature from Bulgaria and the history of the country is fascinating to say the least

All that talk of the Sound of Silence got me listening to Simon and Garfunkel once more.

Love this arrangement

Video killed the radio star and Elstree by the electronic pop duo The Buggles. Horn and Downes were later members of Yes in two awesome albums: Drama and Fly from here. Horn also produced during the 80s a couple of Yes albums.

Right then - a bit of Russian music is called for.

Does anyone know what instrument would make the desperate, melancholy, sound that kicks in after about 45 seconds. It really is quite beautiful.

Shame about the rubbish video [8|]

Maybe it is a Duduk?

A duduk is the instrument in the beginning of this song.
