Save Large Map with PBEM End of Turn File?

Post by Catch21 »

It doesn't appear possible to manually save maps (File->Create Map Image, either JPG or AVI) with an END_OF_TURN_DO_NOT_SEND_*.sal file in a PBEM game.

Yes, I know the system generates SCENARIOm#.jpg and SCENARIOu#.jpg each turn useful for stringing together in movies, but these are for medium and tiny sizes (why u for tiny?) and large would be useful (i.e. the same size most folks look at when playing most of the time?).

Without this, there's no way to get a regular size map that shows state of play at the end of a turn that can be cropped for jpg images to show in AARs.

Has anyone found a way to do it (attached an El Alamein 1942 example in ZIP format to test on)?
