Pavlov`s house again

Post by fuselex »

That was enjoyable, apart from turn 1, I lost a panzer , turn 3 the second one went and the rest of the
the game the 3rd decided to miss or go OOC :).
The Russian AT`s and mortars did a fantastic job of keeping my plans in check .
The one positive thing was I a got a kill on a HMG crew with the OBA :).
Very well done , I realise everyones experience will be different but I had a great time getting flogged :).
One Russian unit deserves the MVP in my game , a lonely little unit with no officer , no support weapons ,
just a stone building to protect him :)
I have no idea how many mortar rounds , infantry assaults , or serious curses from my side he withstood , but
that is what makes the game so good :)

What Pavlov scenario do you prefer?

I think CMBB and TOTH married very well.
Despite i do the Jahnsfelde scenario and so know the process,
I liked it as same original CMBB scenario.

Hope you enjoy them fuselex.

I had a lot of fun putting them together. Got a couple of more to add as
soon as I get my fanny in gear.

Cheers!

just finished Ivan`s -death at strudansky -
Very suspenseful , what I love about the game is you think you are going alright for a bit , then
the other team turns up :)
Very nice scenario Big Ivan , spent a few turns at the start trying to probe the Russian defense.
Then I hear the distant rumble of Russian tanks followed by HMG fire :)
Enjoyed it immensely.

I will try to correct that without giving to much away , The HMG`s hit me first , then the sound of tanks
moving in my headphones really put an end to the thought of an early victory :)

I liked No other Choice soviet side with a nice die-hard safari against panthers.

Thanks John.

fuselex and rico,

Glad you enjoyed them!

I find the A/I pretty decent in this game and try to build around that. Sure, the A/I is far from perfect and the engine
is not total ASL but IMO its about as close as you can get w/o dragging out the old boards and counters.

With ToTH and my love for Campaign Series the possibility for new scenarios are endless for Tigers on the Hunt.

Someday I hope to see more and varied terrain and other combatants add to TotH. In the meantime I'll keep plugging
away at building scenarios. Got a couple of more I'll be adding soon involving actions around the Volturno river and
Aprilla settlement in Italy.

Best always and have a great day!
