Nov/Dec 1940
Impulse: 3

Sorry Ormster - I felt pretty confident we would get something from one of those. I've court-martialled Lena - she has been sent home in disgrace...

The Allies roll 10
The Axis roll 6

There is no naval action....

A job well performed because Axis did not roll 1 in either sea area.

Nov/Dec 1940
Impulse: 3

The Soviets rail a 4:1 GARR to Tehran

In the far north a 3:1 GARR moves back to Murmansk while the build up of the new front in and around Belorussia continues.

Nothing moves in Northern China, but in Central China there is feverish cavalry activity to try and plug the hole in Hunan province.

For rebases we have a Whitley bomber in Bilbao, rebasing to Morocco and a Whirlwind in Southampton, being ordered to the Basque country.

USA unloads a naval bomber in Hawaii.

And that ends the impulse.

N/D 40 Axis 5

No DoW or alignments

All go for combined.

Germany sends He 100 to St Vincent 2-box, the Hungarian fighter to West Med 2-box and the Condor to St Vincent 4-box.

Italy drops planes in St. Vincent and West Med to the 2-boxes.

Japan send an Amph and Trans loaded with Inf's from Tokyo to Swatow.

German sub heads for Faeroes 2-box.

The 2 Italian BB's in the West Med return to La Spezia.

3 areas for naval combat.

First up, West Med.

The Hungarian fighter initiates the searching. Germany sends out another Nav from Spain to the 2-box.

Allies can send the Blenheim to the 2-box if they wish?

With no targets for the CW subs, I decide they probably will want to stay deep.

Searches: Axis 6, Allies 9. No combat.

Next, Cape St Vincent.

The German fighter initiates searching and the Germans dispatch another Nav to the 2-box.

Allies can send arrow to 2-box and Blenheim to 3-box if they wish?

Searches: Axis 8, Allies 9. Get the feeling nobody is really trying!

Finally, Faeroes Gap.

CW can send a Skua to the 1-box if they wish?

Searches: Axis 3, Allies 8. No combat.

In northern Spain, the Italian artillery has a new consignment of ammunition, which they immediately put to use.

Stukas attack Gibraltar.

Do the CW wish to intercept?

Yes. The Nimrod on HMS Eagle intercept.

Italian Re.2000's scramble to provide some escort but might have arrived too late.

Which do the CW wish to abort?

The revised combat, with the correct die rolls doesn't go well for the Italians but the Stuka gets through.

Result is even worse...

Axis still need to compensated 2 BP's (Oil plant bug). Can we change Allied result to 4 so that pilot is saved?
