Get ready to roll fine everywhere! I just want to make sure that AllenK agrees that we go first.

Gents - just a suggestion for speeding things along (like we did with subs in major ports). In this scenario there is no penalty for going first i.e. no re-throw required and movement of indicator, and its the EuroAxis that are the driver for moving first or not - because of Gibraltar. That being the case would it be sensible to say that one person can make the decision for both in such a scenario?
I am not arguing your suggestion.

I just want to chime in and say that things might not be as clear cut as you say. I would not go first here as Axis. I seldom go first, as Axis, in Jan/Feb if it is my choice. (not saying that it is wrong to go first)
warspite1

No problem - it was a suggestion so if not a good one then we'll park it. Both players to agree.

It is a good suggestion. [:)]

J/F 41 Axis 1

No DoW or alignments.

Germany and Japan Land. Italy Combined.

Germany flies the Condor to St. Vincent 4-box and a fighter to the 2-box. A fighter also flies to West Med 2-box.

Italy puts Navs in the 2-boxes of St. Vincent and West Med.

2 areas for combat.

First, West Med. The Italians start the searching.

The Italians and Germans each react another Nav to the 2-box.

CW can send Beaufighter and Blenheim to 2-box, Whirlwind to 1-box. Do they join in?

Searches: Axis 5, Allies 10. No combat.

Cape St. Vincent.

The Italians initiate the searching. Germany reacts another Nav to the 2-box.

CW can fly a range of aircraft into the area.

The German artillery opens up on Gibraltar, while overhead the familiar gull wing shapes of the Stukas prepare to dive.

In Japan and Lnd and Nav ground strike Changsha.

CW can intercept at Gib with Beaufighter, Nimrod or Swordfish.

What about the Whirlwind? Also what fighters do the Axis have that they can intercept with please?

The Whirlwind is on convoy escort in Cape St. Vincent.

Germany has 2 Me-109's (6 and 5 factors) and a Me-110 (4 factors) that could counter-intercept.

While the Nimrods attempt to get to grips with the Stukas, the Me-109's reap a grim harvest.
