I've gathered together several infantry groups and they are awaiting some transports to get moved to the fighting. I figure I can move
about 900 AV from there and I'm thinking of moving them to Java or Sumatra or both. Also, there's some at Fusan and some at Tokyo.

I'm not making nearly as much HI as I used to but the fuel level is rising at Tokyo for a change. The war can go on for a while. I'm not
sure I can fight the war this way for long I'll probably start to miss that HI around the start of the month next month and will have to go
back to making HI in Tokyo.

Here's the LCU's at Tokyo that I can move. Most of them need to be bought out to be loaded on the transports but I have more then
enough PP's to do that. Somebody went hog wild when they modified the PP's for this mod. I find that PP's aren't a problem for
anything I need to do. I'm making bad habits reguarding the spending of PP's.

What class of xAKs did you convert to xAK-t (temporary decreases cargo capacity, but increases troop capacity). I would look at the Ehime, Toho, and Aden Class. If you have this many PP to use, then relying upon the at start xAP and APs is not enough.

I didn't know this was available to me. I'll get busy and take a look at the classes you mentioned and convert a bunch of 'em.

What good are my PP's when building ships? I'll use Tracker to help me find those classes and convert them. I can always use
some more good AP's and xAP's. What good are LCI ships by the way?

Three more TF's are leaving Manila for Mersing. I'm not sure how long it'll take in transit but I'm guessing about a week. I've got more
troops at Manila to be moved yet, about 5 divisions and some assorted mish mash. The thing holding this operation back is the lack
of shipping. If I had the ships they would be moved already. They have been waiting about four days now. I suppose I should put the
LCU's in "rest" until just before Iload them.

Toho Class xAKs - This is a 14 knot ship and I like them as one of my xAK-t.

Ehime or Akasi (I know I'm miss spelling here, but I'm at work). Choose one to convert most of that class to carry troops.

Any TF carrying Resources to Japan will have to be micro-managed to carry supplies or troops to front lines. Example will be have two small Cargo TFs going from Nauru and Ocean Is back to Kwajalein with resources. Eventually, enough is built up get me to form a TF to get the Resources over to Truk. Aden Class xAKs are formed up at Truk and go back to Japan with Resources, but return Truk carrying supplies.

Thanks.......that helps a lot. I'll get busy and re-configure my routes, etc. And yes, I thought it a good idea to use the faster ships, the
longer ranged ships, on the longer trips and the small little 10-knot ships I was using to ferret out supplies to the end of the logistics
chain(s).

new moves from Brian. Here's the stuff at Manila awaiting shipment. About 17 divisions or equivalents and lots of engineers and arty.
Let's call the operation to move all this stuff somewhere else Shiny Chevy IV. The operation to take over the smaller islands in
the Celebes group almost down to Darwin operation Black Crow. Let's call the operation to take over Sumatra Palace Chase.
I'm putting these operations in motion as of right now and I'm going to round up some ships for these guys. I'm going after Ambon and
the smaller islands just north of Darwin and all the oil and resource centers to be had down there. Babo for one.

According to Tracker the fuel and res levels are rising finally. We may have turned the corner temporarily. I'm still worried about the
lack of HI that we were putting out from Tokyo but to turn the HI back on would run me out of fuel lickedy split. I dread the paying for
the pilots at the beginning of the month.

I'm not making much excess HI at all and there's 1.6Meg in the pool so the beginning of the month pilot HI cost will be paid I'm pretty
sure but I can't guarentee much after that. So far so good.

And for those of you qurious about the economy here's the chart. I'm familiar with the chart but I don't remember all the in's and out's
of the figures but I have a rough idea what they mean.

Here's what just got unloaded at Mersing recently. I'm moving them from Mersing to Johore B. and try to put some of the divisions back
together before strolling across the river. I don't have to wait for all the troops to be assembled. As soon as I get a group about equal
to the size of the Allied group in the city I'll give some serious thought to crossing the river. I'm awaiting the arrival of the HQ for the
Southern Army, it may already be in J.B. and the HQ for the 14th Army would be good to be here.

EDIT: Yeah, I see where the 14th Army HQ unit is already at Mersing. Good catch.

Here's an image to show you the number of TF's and the numbers of ships involved in this operation. I've scrapped up all the
unemployed transports and this represents just about all that's left of the available ships. The rest of them are moving goodies
and moving deadhead to their next station.

Have I informed you guys about my SCTF at Balikpapan? I had a large size TF at Balikpapan that got trapped there by an Allied
carrier group that snuck up on me. He's been launching air raids and my CAP isn't up to the task and I'm loosing ships. I've got
some carrier TF's coming but they aren't going to arrive in time to save any of the ships of the TF. D'oh.

So I'm putting the broken ships into the shipyard for all the good it will do. I'm thinking the airstrikes can still get to them, they're not
much safer I suppose but at least they are getting repaired.

Here's what's going on since I pulled the carriers off the east coast of Aust. Brian has dispatched some TF's to carry SOMETHING to
Noumea and I suspect it was either troops or supplies or both. I think he's got one or more ships there already. Maybe one of those
I got a hit on is being repaired there. Pulled into port moments before it sank, that sort of thing. He's probably got one or more air
groups there, maybe fighters. I'm speculating on what *I* would do with that situation. Given half a chance. Someday. I've got, as you
can see, lots of active subs in this area and some of them I have making holes in the water in patterns and some of them I've parked
on the port itself I get lots of subs hurt that way.

Early in the game I dispatched these subs to where they are now in hopes of preventing any buildup by the Allies prior to my being able
to get some people into that area. It's just north of Darwin and I'm hoping to be able to build up massively prior to my assaulting
Darwin. If that ever happens. Probably not judging by what's going on right now near Balikpapan where I'm loosing ships left and right.
