Why didn't HMS Furious get any of the abort results? [&:]

My fault - should have thought of that.
No worries. [:)]

Just thought I should mention that it was a possibility. [:)]

The Axis didn't want to.
And why should the Allies listen to what you want? I rather we do what we prefer.

Fair enough, I was only commenting on the A the Axis could choose where it went.

CW abort the Western Mediterranean. The French submarines hide from the Axis air and the combat ends.

The fighter aborts to Morocco. The ships abort to Malta, Egypt, and Aden.

No strategic bombing. No Ground Strikes.

USSR rail a cavalry division from Persia to Minsk.

Both the Chinese AT and infantry division moves two hexes eastwards. 2nd Cavalry moves one hex east. China advance into French Indo-China.

The two CW transporters in Cape St Vincent unload their cargo of fighters to Morocco.

USA rebase a naval bomber to Hawaii (from a TRS).

Franco reorganize the Spanish defender in Gibraltar.

Gentlemen, I'm planning to play tonight.
If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.

In the absence of Orm I will order the Allied units to fight - and to increase the AA fire with the surprise points.

The AA is boosted from lowest 1 of 6 to lowest 1 of 4. The AA gunners appear to be finding the range with rolls of 7, 9, 10 but then lose focus (1 rolled).

The cruiser Liverpool is sent back to port with light damage.

The Axis stay for more. How about the Allies?

In Cape St Vincent, the Italian sub comes to periscope depth to begin searching.

The Axis decline to fly anything else in. How about the Allies?

The RAF inform the RN that - given the level of recent losses - they have no aircraft available for protection of the senior service.

The RN shrug their collective shoulders, get their heads down and grimly prepare to face the worst.....

Just getting to it. Have had some internet problems. BT's "super-fast", "super-reliable" broadband again.
