Good News Report - 25Oct16

Hey folks!

Finally some good news to report back to you guys. First off, the latest installer build looks good. After a few weeks of ping pong getting it all correct, I believe we are there. We are letting Matrix know and then it's in their pipeline to get released here and on Steam. Once we hear a rough date, we'll pass it along.

Website. The old site is 100% dead. Rob grabbed a new host the other day and we are working on getting our domain transferred to the new host. The new site, once I get some time to rebuild it from scratch, will be news and information only. No file support at the moment. For that we apologize, but we need to deal with one problem at a time. We are still exploring options. We do want a place for 3rd party content and first our own released materials. The biggest item we want to get going is the Developer Blog covering things we are planning to do for Southern Storm and other projects down the road.

Well the website saga continues...
Bluehost, who after three weeks of promised 24-48 fixes, magically came to life yesterday afternoon in an effort to recover our lost site. Now I'm not going to say that I find it coincidental that we pulled our domain name to our new host Thursday and now we see action. Not going to do it. [8|] The real pisser is the "recovery work" has knocked the new site offline as they do there thing. [:@] So I can't even start a rebuild.

Ultimately, it is up to Rob as to which host we roll with, assuming Bluehost gets the old site running. [X(]

OUR WEBSITE is back up right now for at least a little while again. From our point of view it is a bit of a mashup of 3 different sites - but it works and you can visit / upload and download again. It ought to look just the same to all of you.

Our apologies again for this outage and thanks to Keith at BlueHost for working practically his entire shift last night to get it going again for us.

1). Our website is back up and running for the moment. Info was backed up by Rob after a few attempts to get it downloading. If you are looking for files, grab them now. We have no idea when that may change.

2). Word from on high is the long awaited 2.0.11 Update is in the pipeline for release late next week. 27ish is the target, but it swing a few days either way. Steam release is usually a couple days after the Matrix version pops up. If we get any more information we will let you know. [8D]
