Well done AR. both the AAR which is fantastic and the play which is excellent! At the rate you're going through Soviet ships, I'll need one of those Star Trek replicators [:D]

But I wouldn't believe all the stories your pilots are telling you... some of those ships may rise from the dead [8D]

Hope you enjoy 9.1, its quite different again.

I'm enjoying Gunner's Northern Fury set too (I'm struggling with 9.5 at the moment), and both his scenarios and your AARs are absolutely excellent!

I will. Eventually. Just finished my first scenario but, as a novice, still playing simple scenario's with not to many units. So, Northern Fury has to wait a little longer.

Do I understand correctly that you manually change the depth on which the torpedo's are running or is that just for the story? And, if yes, it is actually a game feature that it makes the torpedo's harder to detect if they're running above or under the thermo-layer?

Yes. You can manually control the depth of your torpedoes, and sonar detection range is indeed affected by the thermocline, among a lot of factors.
