Cape St Vincent

Italian subs come to periscope depth to start searching.

Do the Allies wish to add any more air support. Harrow and Buffalo can both make 2-box?

CSV round 1: Axis 4, Allies 1. Italian NAV and 3 CW ships find each others, no surprise points to use.

BB Repulse is aborted.

Axis stay, I bet Allies stay too so that they can better defend Gibraltar.

If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.

West Med is going to be next sea area with equally gigantic naval combat.

No additional planes from Axis.

CW could fly Buffalo to box 0, I keep planes on ground as there is nothing to protect in box 0.

East Med: Axis 3, Allied 5.

Italy chooses only box 0 and sinks CP.

Axis stay, how about French ships in box 3?

German artillery has been bombarding Gibraltar for months, they know where the enemy is hiding...

All we need now is to put Gibraltar OOS, but that seems to be too hard job for us.

Germany prepares to attack Gibraltar, but not this this time. Maybe next week.

Japan declares two attacks.
Attack in south against Shanghai MIL is 8:3 (fine weather).
Attack in north against disorganized and OOS units in mountains is 20:4 (3:1 +2).

Japan uses HQ support in north, on a 7 roll fails.

Does Allies choose assault for both attacks?

Why not use a cheap TRS (4-3),in the 3 box for supply? Depending on CP is quite shaky.

What is the benefit of Gibraltar when you also take Spain?

Who contlors Gibraltar can sail between CSV and West Med. Axis want to send Italian ships to Atlantic and make Allies less easy to invade Italy.

Yes of course. I was just thinking that the US can do the same to the Rock, just much more effectively. And they basically get to pick their invasion for free/cheap with all the extra coast you have to cover with Spain in the war.

Yes, it's shaky indeed. But what's the alternative?

A TRS to be used for supply, means that it is not available to transport land and air units around the globe. And that's something which can become quite disastrous for the CW, since it will need to prepare for the Japanese attack on the Far East positions too. And the Wallies don't have a lot of sea lift available at the moment.
