COTD pbem

Frank Hunter's Campaigns on the Danube is an operational study of the campaigns along the Danube in 1805 and 1809. Campaigns on the Danube's system focuses on trying to present the player with the same sort of decisions placed on their historical counterparts; how to feed an army and move that army according to a plan, all the while trying to fight a campaign. There is also an option to allow players to play out the battles with miniatures and input the results.

Thanks for posting and embarrassed that you have been able to finish an AAR and I have failed.

I am working through with a translator, but you seem to have had similar experiences and demonstrated a good game. [:)]

Hello guys,

my first post on Matrix site is to say thank you to your community and to ulisin for letting me know about this wonderful game.

Rasputitsa, I read your AAR and I tried to make something similar in our italian forum; love the way you explain the mechanics of this game[&o]

We played with full FoW, so reports only, the "Charles original plan" scenario, short campaign.

Playing as French, I noticed some issues but the feeling of this game is great! Hope Frank keep on the good work.

I compare this to the Scourge of War series, talking about FoW and orders delay.

About my AAR, it's still unfinished (I have to write about 4-5 days) but the campaign is already ended. The game said Decisive French victory but I think it's definitely a draw.[:)]
