Pickup game vs BillBrown

Post by emek »

My opponent lost interest after game replays sync bug.

We are now Nov 42 with very few capital ship losses on both sides. One allied CV and two cruisers i think.

Very few house rules mainly to pay PP for cross borders unit move from India to Burma and same rule for Manchurian forces. In addition no industry/oil/fuel bombing until July 44 for both sides.

Vanilla scen 1 GC.

I could be interested, I assume from what you say it is the Allied player who is the replacement?

I would state that I only play as Allied and that I have been playing this since it was released, I tend towards a leisurely pace so bear in mind I'm not likely to get a fast return in but am retired so can normally keep up a decent pace. I live in Northumberland UK so same time zone.

Just exploring possibilities here, but my other two games are pretty slow at maybe one move a week at present so I have capacity.

Thanks for the offer.
I prefer a bit faster turn rate something like 5-7 a week.

Following a couple of emails I have concluded this one is not for me, its the Official update only and I like all the Beta stuff.

At this point we are doing an update to the beta exe and a roll back for about 5 weeks or so. My opponent had a problem with some CVL upgrades on 1 October, so we are going back
to there to fix that. As far as I can tell that is also before I started having replay problems. So maybe we can fix things.

We have done one turn with the beta patch and the combat replay was completely accurate. So we are continuing on now.
