Conversations on features in our forums are never wasted, but some things might take a while to gestate in our minds before being turned into a concept, which then in turn has to find an opportunity to be implemented. It's one of the most enjoyable and rewarding parts of game development.

What wonderful job you have! [:)]
I hope you are taking all what I am saying as constructive feedback no criticism.
You have a good game here.

All right - Back to test.

[because I'd rather it [naval] all be abstracted anyway as it [naval] just doesn't work in IGO/UGO as far as I've ever seen]
Out of curiosity, did you try Schwerpunkt games' WW2 Europe: Air and Naval seems in WEGO while Ground is in IGOUGO.
I did not try this game but I am curious of the result.
I did not try that one because I did try their Anglo-German War 1939-1945 and I found the UI to be very difficult and the game mechanics to be silly. For example, you could only make a specific number of attacks per turn. I understand why they did it that way, but it made the game no fun as you had to plan each attack ahead of time before you started attacking [:o]

Thankfully for this game, stacking isn't really necessary. A game like Civ V though? No stacking frustrated the crop out of me as random maps were often unplayable.
