A Moment of THANKS to Hubert!

Post by CSSS »

Like many of us I have played SC1 till present. It is a game which has not only withstood the test of time, but grown
in size, scope and complexity over the years without ever sacrificing playability. Modder's have came up with legendary
scenario's, that cover warfare of the 20th century in its fullness. Also names of players whose skill could match the chess masters of old.
Some of these gamers are no longer with us such as Jersey John, he would have loved to see this evolution. Hubert I will buy 4 copies alone as gifts for my friends for Christmas.
Please give us the ability to adjust skill levels VS Human players as we do the A.I. Some of us might be able to take on Terif if so. Remember Hubert, if you are ever in Texas Steaks and Margaritas are on me!
Bump if you agree and wish to also thank Hubert and the Development team!

Has anything happened to JerseyJohn? He posted here in the regular SC3 forum some month ago (User-Name: JPD49)

I'd like to second this excellent post. This game is truly amazing. It is almost unheard of for me, as a jaded gamer at times, to have something greatly exceed my hopes. I wish I could buy 4 copies for people, but I will be doing my best to get every strategy gamer (or one who enjoys history) to purchase this.

I second the motion above for the human option made by CSS and would like to add the one thing I've been hoping for since the beginning of the test - the extra zoom level. Or even a way to adjust (in settings or an ini edit) how far in the game zooms for that closest level.

I have not had luck finding the post about Jersey John passing, it was within the past two years , if I remember correctly. He was a good man whom we all will miss.

Congrats to Hubert and Bill on another great iteration of SC.

If we could just have an Oil feature I think it would be easy to say that SC has become the best strategy WW2 game in the industry.

Don't scare me, please. [&:] [:(]

Are you sure that you don't mix him up with Desert Dave?

Extremely good news using an old email address I can proudly say Jersey Johns, IS still alive and kicking :-) He said the rumors of his demise were much exaggerated!

Thanks everyone, we really appreciate the kudos and while we've been extremely busy the last little while, and will be for the next week or so, I just wanted to quickly pop in and say a really heartfelt thank you from both Bill and I... it truly is a pleasure to have the game as well received by this group as it has been!
