Two not-so-negligible details

Post by UP844 »

Premise & Disclaimer: I do not have the slightest idea about the technical feasibility of what I am proposing below [:)]

1. Would it be possible to add a dynamic list of all the units that must rout or be eliminated in the message box, together with their location? I know such units are highlighted with a dotted line during their Rout Segment, but in a large scenario is easy to lose track of them (and lose the units afterwards [:@]).

2. When an infantry unit carrying a SW moves, the SW "counter" is on the top and is not marked with the small red arrow that indicates a unit has moved. Often, the yellow dot makes locating the moving units easy, but sometimes - as shown in the picture - no dot appears because the starting hex is occupied by other units. Would it be possible to have the red arrow showing on SW counters, or can it only appear on personnel units?

1) Possibly in the expansion

2) The Symbol applies to the personnel units and not support weapons. You Can right click on the hex to see the details.

Hello Peter, I see your answer here and definitely understand point 2, but isn't the idea to make the information user-friendly for the gamer? Doesn't the SW, in fact, move (even though it is being carried)? Showing that the SW had been mobile would be more consistent for the player.

Just a suggestion, I hope you don't mind. Another suggestion, not sure how difficult it is, but allow the stack to explode with a point and left click function, just as is done in VASL. It would be a tremendous UI improvement (and if already suggested I apologize).
