CS games Engine development Ideas for East Front III

With East Front III (the first of the reworked CS WW2 titles) due out in a year or so I thought it might be worthwhile putting my thoughts on paper on how the CS games engine could be developed to enable army capacities to be customized on a scenario by scenario basis.

The Dropbox link below is to a zipped MS Word document which sets out some ideas on how it could be adapted to reflect the feel of armies wedded to a more centralized and positional form of warfare. Particularly thinking of the Soviets here, but also other Eastern European armies such as the Poles still adhering to great war era doctrine to a greater or lesser extent.

Cheers Ian, nice thoughts for sure! There's an Event Engine in the planning board that as we get to developing it in a few months time could perhaps answer at least some of your requests. I very much would like to have Air strikes available say only during a certain time window, so great minds ... [:)]
