After playing a turn the scrolling speed slows down. Not to a crawl but there is a noticeable difference. This was not happening pre update.

Try this switch;
-dd_sw

I found that this switch helps with Lagging. Let me know....GP

Still slows down some after one turn, but it's not the crawl slow. It actually slows it down from shooting across the map as it normally does.

And adding -dd_sw causes the game to load like a bat out of hell.

This is a comprehensive update, it has all of the accumulated updates from day 1. That includes map panels, art, official scenario files, etc.

However, it does not include the latest unofficial beta batch :

[17.09.2016] 1126b
Fix unloading rate from amphib TF in port (from Don B.)

If you are using mods, use the "exe only" updates of the unofficial beta thread in the tech forum.

And it still is a comprehensive patch. It will patch the basic 10079 game to 1126a. Then you can apply the beta patch to upgrade the exe to 1126b.

Of course. But as I said, when playing mods, it is not a good idea to use the comprehensive patch because it will overwrite any modded map panels, art, probably pwhexdat as well with stock data. You will need to reinstall the mod after patching with the comprehensive patch.

Thank you for making the patch/update process easy by providing a comprehensive patch!

If your into mods you have most likely installed the previous comprehensive patch along with the unofficial beta exe patches so based on the description this update doesn't include anything new.

Hi Guys,

I downloaded and installed the patch and when I go to open up my save game I get PW/Hex data different proceed Yes/No.

I hit No and exited. What do I do here? I am using the Yamato_damashi map, babes extended map and scenario 198v8.75 May 1942 to end of war.

It's quite common in other Game forum sections to have stickied threads for current official release and public Beta patches.
But first post should be updated with a link to the further improved unofficial Beta.
