Box + Download?

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

Box + Download?

Post by roth »

If I upgrade to the box -- to get the manual -- do I also get a download code so that I can start playing right away?

Yes you immediately get the download and the hardback book is shipped with a personalized disk manufactured on demand with your name and the same serial you were issued by download printed on it. Its very cool :)

It was not clear that a hard bound manual was included with the game with the boxed edition. So how can I upgrade to get that since I already bought just the download only version?

There is no box, the book is the box. The disk is mounted inside the cover of the book.

Don't worry though there is an option to upgrade to box here:

I would suggest you add this information as soon as possible to the store - it's not clear at all that the printed manual (I assume this is the same format as the great "War in the West" and "Barbarossa" manuals?) is part of the "box" offering.
I NEVER buy box versions UNLESS it has such a nice manual and I'm sure many feel the same. You want to avoid having too many customers who buy the digital version first and then are disappointed not to have the manual.

Yes, agreed, present the great hardcover manual to the interested audience, else no one will understand what he is going to miss.

Just watch the price for the freight on the manual. But if like the rest of them from Matrix, I'm sure it will be worth it. - Plus when they update the game and manual they will send you a free updated copy! (not really, just kidding [:D])

We've updated the product pager to make it clearer what you are getting. Can you check if this is clearer for you?
