Dirtnap, this is for u. look at the gun ammo % left on the BB mass TF. Between shelling shanghai and sinking enemy CV I was surprised the TF had any ammo left.

For the KB to threaten my landing TFs IJN would need to turn north into the China sea. So I made the needed adjustments to allied deployment and first time since early 44 set the DB/TBs into attack mode. Also sent several surface TFs with bombard orders to Shanghai(into expected path of the KB). At end of the following montage I counted 4 undamaged IJN CVs moving past Tushima to Furotaka. Allied CVE's are shot to peices but US Fleet CVs suffer minor to no damage.

45-3-25. I thought I might get lucky and catch some damaged ships in shanghai port so set all land based nav air to port strike for these two turns.

This was the surface battle where the USN BB TF finds a IJN CV TF in daytime after a night bombardment of Shanghai..

While the Iowa was reloading at Naha the BB Mass TF rolled out to deal out some damage.
I suspect the IJN is no longer a threat to my SLOC.

Last report indicates 4 IJN CVs made it to Furotaka undamaged. All others are sunk or damaged at Shanghai.
