New UV game Art at Spooky's Site

Spooky gets the BIG Medal for being fast.

No sooner had I sent him the email containing the last zip file, then I received an email from him stating that everything was ready for download from his site.

There are 4 new UV game screen art panels. They represent 2 different paintings with 2 different screen resolutions each (making four art panels altogether).

These are 2 paintings of air combat in the South Pacific in WWII. I thought they would be interesting to look at while you're waiting for the game to start and load up.

They will replace the current start screen and load screen in the game.

I don't think you will be disappointed. I personally use these myself.

Place these inside your ART folder:

C:\Matrix Games\Uncommon Valor\ART

Be sure to backup the originals

Marc: You are abolutely right. I have edited my above post to reflect the artist, who paints in a photo realistic way.

As to providing other pictures: I scoured the entire web, and these were the two best paintings I could find. Their colours, and the sheer beauty of these paintings, go very well with the UV in-game colour scheme.

Just imagine what you are seeing is a snapshot of the air battle. One moment the allies have the upper hand; the other, the Japanese. . .

I have been thinking about this for sometime. Some players do prefer to play the Japanese side, so a bit more immersion would be welcome.
