Mod Request: Terrain color changes

Loving the game but find the map terrain colors not quite to my liking. Any modders thinking of a terrain mod in the near future? I'm not a mod maker but would love to hear if someone is considering doing such a mod. Not sure it is even possible but I suspect it may be.

It's very possible, there is a modder [Welk] that even makes the map look like Third Reich !
