Insufficient port to move 90th PZ

Post by Vadrus »

Hey all, this has been driving me nuts. I'm trying to move the 90th Pz Gren from Sardinia as other people seem to have done in their play throughs but even though I've divided it into 3 Rgts every time I try to ship it to Italy it says there is insufficient port capacity to load the unit.

What am I doing wrong here?

Which port are you using? Cagliari is bigger.

I've tried all the ports on Sardinia. I've tried only 1 regiment at Cagliari and it won't allow it. Says insufficient port capacity to load.

Yep just tried again. Moved one regiment of the 90th PzGren into Cagliari and tried to ship it to Naples. It says insufficient port capacity to load the unit.

That's the biggest port on Sardinia so how do I get the 90th back to the mainland?

What's your game version?
Are the ports damaged? If yes how much damage do they have?

I have the most up to date version, or at least the most up to date version the updater installs.

As for ports I'm trying to use Cagliari. It is turn 2 of the Axis ground move. It has not been bombed so I assume it is not damaged. I checked to see Allied air and they did not target Cagliari last turn.

I break up the 90th Pz Gren into 3 rgts move one to Cagliari. I hit Naval move and try to move it to Naples (or any other port) and it says Insufficient port to load unit.

I feel like I can't progress with the game as it seems silly to leave and entire Pz Gren Div on Sardinia. Should I just disband it?

Someone must have run into this before? How did you move the division out if you managed it?

Do you have enough troop ships?

I was able to load 90PzGren, but it takes 7 troop ships to load.

Ah, ok so my mistake was assuming I could get the unit to Naples in one move. Thanks for your help!

Sorry for my confusion!
