Almost all the USA 38th ID is ashore. Disruption in the other divisions is recovering quite well, the highest now 18%. Fatigue is another story: 39, 40, 33, and 29. Another day of rest. That will give more time for the increased air ops to have impact. Map recon shows that some Imperial units are moving out of Kumamoto to the NE, while others are moving in from that direction. In six more days Kochi airfield complex will buld to size 9 which will improve the air situation even more.
There were lots of night air strikes but no damage. Three of the four CVE TF on station areheading to Nago to rearm. The two CVE TF near Saishu To will take up the slack as will their CA TF escort. One surface TF is heading back to Nago to rearm.
DD Kikuzuki was hit again in the morning but missed later in the day.
