As both submarines are disorganized, Axis decide to abort and send new CP next impulse. All ships to La Spezia and fighter to same hex where it came from.
Edit: Italian CA to Gibraltar if that is possible.

The Italian cruiser can abort to Gibraltar but then it could be intercepted by CW submarines. Will the cruiser still abort to Gibraltar?
Edit: I will be away for around one hour.

I just returned the cruiser to Gibraltar and there was no interception digression by the computer - she just sailed straight to Gib. Another bug?

Yes please. And if intercepted, Italian ATR will intercept to West Med box 2. I believe Allies have no fighters in West Med and they can't intercept any fighters there.

Allies never got the opportunity to intercept the cruiser in the West Med. Although I think this is a bug I find it to difficult to simulate this so no interception was made.ORIGINAL: Mayhemizer

Are all allied ships in the western Med disorganised? If so, they can't intercept.

No, the CW ships in the Western Mediterranean were not disorganized.ORIGINAL: Centuur

I suspect that the reason for the bug is because CW has chosen a land impulse and CW units may not be used for activation during a land impulse. But, as I read the rules, the abort is a exception and should be treaded as a 'return to base mission' described in 13.4 and therefore the type of impulse selected by CW should have no relevance to this.

No strategic bombing. No Ground Strikes.
CW rail a two land units in Canada to Halifax.
Wavell moves out of Tangier and the Australian militia move into Tangier.
CW land forces in Alexandria are marked as OOS. Is this a bug? I thought this bug was fixed, Maybe that was in a later version than we use.

I will be out now until the mid-evening.
That bug in Egypt is really annoying because it is such an important area of the map - I reported that with one of my first AAR's....[:@]

Impulse: 3
Land Movement
China: I do not know specifically what was done here so will post a screen shot instead.
CW: Ditto the CW + US so let us know if you need to know anything.
USSR: The Soviets continue to move units around in the Baltic States - and one move is left open to the Chinese Communists to move the LanChow Militia toward Tianshui.
Debark: The 3rd Indian Corps lands in Suez.
Air Re-base:
China: The Chinese Rebase their fighter to Chihkiang
CW: The Fairey Battle bomber rebases from Tangiers to the hex SE of Rabat.
Air Re-organisation: The Harrow reorganises the British 2nd Corps
And that brings the impulse to a close.

US did no land moves and CW only did the two I described earlier. "Wavell moves out of Tangier and the Australian militia move into Tangier."CW: Ditto the CW + US so let us know if you need to know anything.
CW has a third land move but that is during the debarkation step.

Still following this thread.
Fantastic to read, please keep the AARs coming.
And the CW and Spanish units entrenched in the mountains in the Bilbao region are likely to delay the Axis quite a bit.
The foothold in northern Africa too.
Best Regards

I believe you have to report both situations as bugs in the Tech Support area. Especially the bug in Egypt is troublesome, because that one was fixed a long time ago and now appears to be back...

I don't know about the intercept bug but the CW forces in Alexandria were showing as back in supply when I opened the game save file to review it for the start of the next Axis impulse. Seems like an intermittent supply calculation bug.

CSV: Axis 4, Allies 9. Only box 0 is selected.
4 points are used to choose submarine combat. Remaining 4 points are used to decrease damage to Italian submarines. Italian submarines take X D A.
