which means that if I had attacked the right side first, the left side attack would have had more strength from resupplied inner troops.

And would have succeeded in doing the MASSIVE cut off.

I attack units in 'pocket to drain everything they have.

I attack this tank division. Its retreat had to go over major river.

It may not be good for the next turn that this tank division is now in support east of river

Nice bomber damage again

here I had a hard call to make.

Rout or leave surrounded.

I ended up with rout because just to far ahead and may result in more units of mine surrounded next turn.

I hope this was the right move.

Last attack east of the river.

I find no way to get to that tank corp hq just south of the Uza.

German cav div and mountain troops have arrived.

He will push over river next turn ( will need a decent attack) and then I will retreat east at full speed.
And again hopefully not a turn to late[:'(]

TURN 75 final Saratov east

Final Saratov east.

I surround the German inf division below as I had no way to cut off more with the Guards tank army.

The area there is majorly weak of Russian infantry.

i'm assuming he will either try to corrale units, or smash directly Northeast on the rivers right side.

He traps a good guard cav corp and 2 other tank corp. No way to rescue. imo

the next 3 panels I bitched and moaned about low german retreat casualties where retreat had to pass through zoc and massive artilary.
