Yugoslavia falls - Two Greek corps appear

In my 1939 campaign Yugoslavia just fell. A couple of Greek corps have just appeared in Yugoslavia, one in Mostar and one in Cetinje. There is probably another one that is not visible in the screenshot in Dubrovnik. I have a save of the turn if anyone wants it.

Were these Greek units in Yugoslavia before it surrendered? This could explain your discovering their presence now.

I don't have the previous turn save unfortunately. My best recollection is that as I watched the replay and the window came up saying Yugoslavia had surrendered that the Greek units appeared on the map. At least I can't recall seeing them on any previous turn. Maybe that's how it works since the rest of the country is assumed under my control after the surrender?

I have Corfu and an Italian cruiser just off the coast there so it seems impossible they landed by transport. Maybe they came overland. The unit in Mostar is the I Corps and it has entrenchment level 3 so maybe it has been there a while. The unit in Cetinje is the II Corps and it is 0/3 for entrenchment. I flew a couple of air units next to Dubrovnik and it did not reveal any unit there so it looks like there are just two corps. I have a save from several turns before Yugoslavia fell so maybe I'll replay the invasion and watch for the Greeks this time to see if they just pop up or actually move there.

Thanks, it does potentially make sense if the Greeks marched into Yugoslavia.

OK, ran a quick test and a couple of turns into my invasion of Yugoslavia I heard the sound of trains and saw the Greek I Corps unload in Dubrovnik next to one of my units. So they were not just "popping up" on the map as I originally feared. I'll leave it to you to decide if the Greeks sending units to Yugoslavia after Italy declares war on them is good strategy, but I don't see any bug here.
