Download problems ?

Post by Marc von Martial »

The 404 / 503 error, respectivly "Error downloading file (#99, Line 2)" when using TrueUpdate, literally means that the FTP is busy. The links are working.

If the FTP is busy you will have to try again later or try to log in to our public FTP manually via an FTP client:

FTP login:

Host: ftp.matrixgames.com
Port: 21
Login: anonymous
Password: Your Email Address
FTP login:
use PASV mode

Or try http://www.fileplanet.com or http://www.patches-scrolls.de they host most of our patches.

What happened to the download part of the site? I get "You can't access this page directlly" or some such when I try to get in. Can't find any way to access the page "indirectly" either. I'd like to get the v2.10, 2.11, 2.20 and 2.30 patches to Uncommon Valor one at a time rather than all together since my computer appears to have attention deficit disorder when it comes to long downloads.

Seems Downloads are down again, clicking the top download link loads the left hand side, the middle stys blank, the bottom lefthanf has an error so maybe rest of page is erroring out, Using Mozilla since MSIE has security issues...

The error in bottom left side is:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01a8'

Object required: ''

/includes/top_forums_topics.inc, line 12
Noise? What Noise? It's sooooo quiet and Peaceful!
