Turn 60, April 19th 1943

Weather
Clear.

Supply raids
Allied losses : 0 MPP
Axis losses : 10 MPP. I do not understand how, seems like a bug, as the only thing I see is an USSR DD sitting on the OLD Narvik convoy line.

Eastern Front
We kill of some units, but only progress a few hexes. This is deliberate, as I want to make sure I do not expose my units, as there are alot of USSR units around.

Africa/Middle East
The units from Cyprus head towards Iraq.
We clear away the unit on Malta, and the Italian fleet starts to head to port, as the bombardments of Cyprus left a mark for sure. An Italian amph TF is enroute to Malta.

Allies
For once we are the lucky ones, as the Allied turn takes place in the rain (normally I get the rain and they get clear).
A unit I have not seen before, called an AVL attacks Le Havre to no avail. Looks like a landing craft.

Purchases
Germany buys a diplochit for Spain, and saves 180 MPP.
Italy saves 358 MPP.

Reinforcements
A German army is placed in Warzaw, just to make sure.
Italy places a Tactical bomber in Palermo.

Research
Germany completes Ground Attack Weapons3.

Decisions/Events
A new partisan in the USSR.
Saudi Arabia is swayed another 13% closer to the Allies.

Turn 61, May 11th 1943

Sorry
Forgot to take a screenshot.

Weather
Clear.

Supply raids
Allied losses : 0 MPP
Axis losses : 12 MPP, and another 18 from US Strategic bombers.

Eastern Front
We keep killing units, and we take Tula. We finish off the partisan near Leningrad. The partisan from last turn is also killed, but I needed to use a TAC for the job. Not good.

Africa/Middle East
There are too many USSR units in the south, so it is a stalemate. We move our reserve (Model + 2 Armies) to France, and most of the fighters and some of the TACs from the Malta assault heads west.

Allies
Oh Crap!
Crap!
CRAP!
That AVL had friends.
It is D-Day [X(]

Purchases
Italy buys a Medium bomber, and saves 75 MPP.
Germany builds an army, and save 25 MPP.

Reinforcements
None.

Research
None.

Decisions/Events
Yet another USSR partisan.

Concern
How big will the Allied landing be? Can I contain it and wipe it out?

Turn 62, June 2nd 1943

Disclaimer
Added France to the Africa/Middle East tag.

Weather
Clear.

Supply raids
Allied losses : 0 MPP
Axis losses : 12 MPP. HOW?!?!?!

Eastern Front
We kill a partisan, and we capture Sevastopol. We push on Moscow, and advance about 1 hex per turn now, properly thinning out the Red Army in the process. I also try to rotate my units so I can upgrade them one by one.

Africa/Middle East/France
We take Malta. The Ariete leaves Rome for France.
The US paratrooper in Belgium is killed. We also manage to sink the UK 7th Armoured off Le Havre.

Allies
Ai ai ai...
They HEAVILY reinforce the landing.

Purchases
Germany buys a diplochit for Spainm and save 27 MPP, Italy saves 92 MPP.

Reinforcements
Germany places 2 Pioneers (the ones I was going to build the Atlantic wall with...) in Cologne, and Italy place a fighter in Aosta.

Research
None.

Decisions/Events
Strong groups in Turkey advocate joining the Axis.
A new USSR partisan appears.

Concern
That is ALOT of Allied troops in France. (Picture below is at the start of the turn).

Clear.

Supply raids
Allied losses : 0 MPP
Axis losses : 11 MPP, but also a whopping 47 from strategic bombing.

Eastern Front
Slowly advancing outside Moscow, we also take Kerch.

Africa/Middle East/France
We kill an US Corps.
We sink an UK and an USSR DD off Norway.

Allies
The Allies take St.Malo, killing the German corps there, and then land yet more troops.

Purchases
None. All MPPs used for OPERATIVE moves for both Italy and Germany, as well as reinforcements.

Reinforcements
Germany places 3 Armies in and around Coblenz.

Research
None.

Decisions/Events
None.

Concern
Do I need to send troops from the east to France, I hope not.

Allied landing force size
1 UK Paratrooper, 2 UK HQs, 1 Canadian HQ, 8 Commonwealth corps, 7 US corps, 3 Commonwealth armies, 1 US Army, 2 Commonwealth tank, and alot of airpower in England.

That UK HQ is in an odd spot. Gonna be a slaughter if they don't land more HQ's.

Yeah, they messed the landing/movement priorities up somehow. Still, isn't this impressive for a mere AI? We would not have seen something like this 10 years before.

Agree with both of you. I did NOT expect such a massive invasion. The Canadian HQ will be better if they take the city, so hope I can kill it before that.

Turn 64, July 8th 1943

Weather
Clear.

Supply raids
Allied losses : 0 MPP
Axis losses : 10 MPP, but also 18 from strategic bombing.

Eastern Front
We keep up the slow advance, and kill a partisan.

Africa/Middle East/France
We kill the UK paratrooper and a CW Corps.

Allies
The USSR finally manage to kill a German unit, an army is lost outside Voronezh. The USSR air force has some nasty tactical bombers now.
The Allies take Cherbourg, killing the German corps there. Their landingcrafts are actually more dangerous than their actual units.
Another US corps land in France.

Purchases
None. All MPPs used for reinforcements and upgrades.

Reinforcements
None.

Research
None.

Decisions/Events
None.

Concern
Those USSR tactical bombers...

Turn 65, July 22th 1943

Weather
Clear.

Supply raids
Allied losses : 0 MPP
Axis losses : 9 MPP, and 20 from strategic bombing.

Eastern Front
We are "winning" against the USSR, but the going is so slow, and I am close to a limit of how many units I can reinforce each turn. We finish off another partisan.

Africa/Middle East/France
We slowly move our submarines forward, trying to bait the Allied navies out.
We also contain the Allied invasion, and keep smashing units.

Allies
More troops land, but that is fine. The bad part are those landing crafts, the damage they do is insane imo.

Purchases
No points left after reinforcements are done.

Reinforcements
None.

Research
Germany gets Industrial Production4.

Decisions/Events
The USSR spawns a partisan outside Kursk, which then walks into the city.

Concern
Allied landing crafts. All they need to do is to sail around the coast and use those landing crafts and smash everything they encounter.

Turn 66, August 5th 1943

Weather
Clear.

Supply raids
Allied losses : 0 MPP
Axis losses : 8 MPP, and 20 from strategic bombing.

Eastern Front
We kill quite a few units, as well as two partisans.

Africa/Middle East/France
We send the German submarines noth to go out into the Atlantic.
We keep shrinking the Allied beachhead, I am no longer concerned about their land units, their airforce however...

Allies
Severe airstrikes, and some Italian fighters are followed back to base, allowing the allies to spot and destroy the Italian fighter.
The Allies immediately spot my submarines, and head out. They sink one and damage two.

Purchases
None.

Reinforcements
None.

Research
Germany gets Advanced Aircrafts4.

Decisions/Events
A partisan spawns in Yugoslavia.

Turn 67, August 19th 1943

Weather
Clear.

Supply raids
Allied losses : 0 MPP
Axis losses : 8 MPP.

Eastern Front
We kill quite a few units, and take quite a bit of ground.

Africa/Middle East/France
Italy takes Kuwait.
4 of our submarines make it into the Atlantic, the two damaged ones turn back.

Allies
Some good luck at last. Rain in England means that the Allied airforce cannot fly.

Purchases
None.

Reinforcements
Italy place a paratrooper in Aosta.

Research
Italy starts Industrial Production5.

Decisions/Events
None.

Turn 68, September 2nd 1943

Weather
Clear.

Supply raids
Allied losses : 43 MPP
Axis losses : 11 MPP, and 28 from strategic bombing.

Eastern Front
Good progress as we take Rostov, Voronezh and Rzhev.

Africa/Middle East/France
I now deliberately go after the most upgraded Allied units in my huge PoW-camp to take those out, then I damage less dangeous units so they must be reinforced.

Allies
They cannot really do anything, the UK/US are sort of trapped, and the USSR units take more damage than they dish out when they attack.

Purchases
Germany builds an army, then saves 101 MPP.
Italy save 97 MPP.

Reinforcements
None.

Research
Germany start Advanced Aircrafts5, and Industrial Technology5.
Italy starts to research Advanced Aircrafts2.

Decisions/Events
A partisan spawns in Yugoslavia.

Turn 69, September 16th 1943

Weather
Rain in the west, clear in the east and Med.

Supply raids
Allied losses : 43 MPP
Axis losses : 12 MPP, and 28 from strategic bombing.

Eastern Front
The Italian paratrooper is sent to Yugoslavia to help with the partisans there. Outside Moscow we make progress, I think two more turns with good weather will see the city fall.

Africa/Middle East/France
Nothing noteworthy, we kill a few units in France, and are more or less stuck in the Middle East.

Allies
The Allies take Brest and kills the German corps in the city. This is due to the Allied airforces. The ground units were unable to kill that corps, but their aerial power is scary right now. I should use all my aerial units to kill of those Allied aerial units, but I cannot as I need those planes in the USSR.

Purchases
None.

Reinforcements
Germany place an army in Klagenfurt in case more help is needed with the partisans in Yugoslavia.

Research
None.

Decisions/Events
None.

Turn 70, October 4th 1943

Weather
Clear.

Supply raids
Allied losses : 21 MPP
Axis losses : 10 MPP, and 38 from strategic bombing.

Eastern Front
German forces stand next to Moscow. Clear weather around Moscow next turn, and the city falls! We even progress quite well towards Stalingrad as well.

Africa/Middle East/France
In the Middle East we simply stand put.
An UK submarine is spotted off Denmark, we get it down to four strength.

Allies
The US destroy the fortress outside Brest. UK DDs come to kill my submarines, so I will have to pull them back next turn.

Purchases
Germany buys a Medium bomber, and Italy buys an army.

Reinforcements
None.

Research
None.

Decisions/Events
None.

Concern
If you look at the dates, we progressed an entire month in one turn, so we are close to the end of the fighting season. One more turn with clear weather and we take Moscow, and that might allow us to take Stalingrad in 1944.

Thank you. I think there is a possibility, it depends upon the weather during fall/winter. Rain and snow will allow the Red Army to rebuild, and that might become a problem because they place alot of units on the board every turn...

Turn 71, October 26th 1943

Weather
Rain.

Supply raids
Allied losses : 30 MPP
Axis losses : 5 MPP, and 20 from strategic bombing.

Eastern Front
We kill some units, but gain little ground in the USSR. In Yugoslavia we start to attack the partisans, but do little damage.

Africa/Middle East/France
The DAK has settled down as there are too many enemy units around. The Italians are moving slowly through Persia.
In France we kill off enemy units, but chose not to take the ground. More rope for the Allies to hang themselves in.
Our subs attack a UK CL, and as expected we bring it down to 1 strength...

Allies
The Allies attacks our submarines, but do not sink any.
The USSR manage to destroy a Finnish garrison.

Purchases
None.

Reinforcements
None.

Research
Germany completes Spying and Intelligence4.

Decisions/Events
The Allies bring Turkey 9% closer to their cause.
