weather zones

Where does the South Soviet zone end and the Europe zone begin? They are both marked as yellow. Is Bessarabia South Soviet or Europe? What about western Ukraine? Is Lvov South Soviet or Europe?

Just toggle the icon circled in red. It shows clearly the weather zones

So Helsinki and Zagreb are in the same weather zone?

I was hoping to avoid the blizzard by pulling back to Poland in December '41, but it turns out Poland isn't immune to the blizzard.

Rules for 1st winter are different

(22.3) First Winter Rule
The following rules impact the Axis player in the section of the map area delineated by coordinates X>72 or X>54
AND Y<95 during Blizzard turns in any scenario that includes the months of December 1941 through March 1942.
