Ok. Now our impulse is done.

It would be nice if this miserable turn could end.

Take it away, Warspite1.

Come on Thing 1!

Because you, not unreasonably, thought this luck cannot last - I mean this is now getting into the territory whereby if I were AllenK and Mayhemizer I would pack this game up and head for Vegas.

It does not matter the odds, it does not matter what we do, we get hammered in the air and at sea impulse after impulse after impulse. How many aircraft now?

So don't feel bad mate - we just need to Keep Calm and Carry on or whatever that is in Swedish [;)]

Honestly guys, hang in there.

Even with all the rotten luck you have endured, the war is NOT going the Axis way. They are quickly running out of time. They are in no position to take Egypt or invade Russia or deal with anything else in the Balkans. They have a mess to clean up in Northern Spain and unfinished business in Africa. All this is going to take time to fix and they just don't have it on their side.

The Japanese are not blowing out the Chinese either, which means that is going to remain a sore front for the Japanese for the rest of the war.

The one area of luck that really truly matters to a point is coming up and that is US entry into the war. Hopefully you guys get a break in that regard.

You did get lucky their NAVs didn't find your new convoy in the CSV.

I think it was a decent chance that the CP could survive even if the Italian NAV found it. The Italian NAVs are, or rather should be, vulnerable without fighter protection. And the 0-box has a decent profile with some AA so not all surprise points could have been spent on the air combat if they wanted to make sure that the CP suffered if a bomber cleared.

I expect losses during these battles. Indeed, I expected to take more losses than I actually have taken. What annoys me is that I do not manage to incur losses on the Axis side. Nowhere near what I think they should take considering what odds they have on their attacks.

Onwards and upwards, eh?

Thank you for your support. [:)]

The dice always come back around. And the Limeys came through for the Tommies in the Bay of Biscay, well done. Almost every time I pass on a chance to "Avoid Combat" I regret it on the next round.

There seems to be a slight error with the Soviet production. USSR has 16 BPs available but has ordered production for 19.

It will be a while before I get to the actual production but I hope to get to it this evening.

Question: where are all the Stukas?

Germany should have a half dozen of them by now.

One is in Spain. I suspect Italy will place a second Stuka now that they get a pilot. But it may be that they prefer to place a naval bomber instead.

The rest is in the force pool. And I am not complaining. Actually I am. I think that the Stuka in Spain should have been shot down by now. [:D]

Strange as I did it "in-game". Must have not clicked on the LND or INF perhaps.... No probs - please remove the LND (3) please.

One Stuka on the map in 1941 - this explains much on the Axis wheel spinning. I have been wondering about these for some time, could only recall the one near Gibraltar flying once a turn.
