Alex1123, To be blunt, we don't care about the Mid-east assessments for two reasons. First, we did not use say Desert Storm,67/73 Arab-Israeli conflicts or Iran-Iraq as any benchmark of Soviet gear being used in the 80s. Secondly, what is happening to tanks 35+ years later in very small isolated engagements lends zero inputs into the equation as well. Is our data perfect, probably not. We do feel it does a decent job for the time in question, based on the best information (unclassified) we can find and within the limits of the level of abstraction in the game engines combat model. We have had folks on both sides of the bias issue. Some say the game is NATO biased and others say it is Soviet biased. We can't help that. People have their reasons for how they see their nation's equipment and the other guys. That's why we give you data files you can edit to make your own scenarios to fit whatever bias model you would like to follow. If there is better data that points to needed edits in our data to make it more accurate, we are more than happy to review that information and update the game's data.

Can you narrow down a time frame? Mideast OOBs are not the most stable/exact things in the world. We know having looked into them a number of years back.

I love this game and all I believe, NATO has the best equipment, most educated soldiers, best training and maybe that's why NATO wins. Great game and easy to play

Some of the better information you can get is from MicroMark OOBs. We use those as a starting point for most of the OOB work we do for Red Storm and I have some for ME and other areas.
