Weird Supply results...

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

Weird Supply results...

Post by Ramblinman »

Two things with this screenshot (German July 22 turn prior to any moves):

1) the mech and tank units near kirovgrad should have supply levels of 6 and 7 as indicated on the map. But they don't; the unit display and action points actually have them at 4 and 5 instead.

2) the russian units in/near rovno have a supply of 7; but their supply source is not connected by rail/road, their is no nearby HQ and rovno had two units adjacent at the end of last turn...the supply should have been a max of 4?

Hi

Do you have a save from this turn that you can send me please?

If you could send it to bill.runacre@furysoftware.com that would be great. [:)]

Thanks

Ha! This is happening all over the map.

Now that I've been dealing with it for awhile, I'm kind of warming up to the unpredictable nature of the supply status.

It's kind of like real life.

Could you send me a saved turn too please, as it might be that evidence of it from more than one game might help Hubert to track down the issue?

Thanks

Bill

Indeed, I have a "supply Bug" save just waiting to send. Had another, deleted it, and let many others go by without saving because of my attitude change.

I'll send it along at earliest opportunity. I'll have to review it to be more specific with(narrate) the problem as it was many game turns ago.

Dang it Bill, either I was mistaken or something corrected itself with the reload of the "supply bug" save.

I'm not finding anything out of order. This was a turn that was deep into USSR, past Moscow, where I "thought" I was finding supply irregularities.

Now I'm not so sure. I've reloaded twice trying to find those supply anomalies without success.

Now that USSR has surrendered, there may not be anymore supply finds in that territory, but I'll keep my eyes open in the future.

But as it stands now, no supply bugs. I'll scrutinize my comments more carefully in the future.
