Panzers - Killed via Accidents

VR designs has been reinforced with designer Cameron Harris and the result is a revolutionary new operational war game 'Barbarossa' that plays like none other. It blends an advanced counter pushing engine with deep narrative, people management and in-depth semi-randomized decision systems.

Panzers - Killed via Accidents

Post by brian.here@yahoo.com »

Have you noticed that most of the Germany's panzers appeared to keep getting killed due the enemy retreating and the panzer suffers and accident?

I am in the early part of the campaign and that is what keeps happening to mine. The attrition will really add up come November! I do not mind losing them to battle but all these "accidents" seem wrong.

Is this your experience?

Hi Brian,

The accidents are part of the hardcoded combat calc's within the engine. Vic might have to tackle this one.

Cheers,

Hi

What I know for sure is that keeping your Panzergrouppes in blitzkrieg mode, always in the move and combat and without rest&refit translates into an enormous level of attrition. The trick is really to find the best time to stop them, switch postures and rest. And sadly I tend to always think that "just one more turn" and I will be able to halt...[:D]
