Chat This Sunday???

Post by Orzel Bialy »

Are we still on for this Sunday's 3pm EST (USA) Chat / Roast?

I know a few of our European brothers have stated other engagements...and I didn't hear much at all from anyone on the other side of the dateline.

Is it a go??? Sound off!!! :D

OB,
You missed a good one last night. I logged into chat on a whim, found Hades and FullMetalJacko discussing SPWAW pointers, and joined in. Within a few minutes Ross Moorhouse and David Heath appeared, followed by a boatload of others (even one of the admins from Wargamer). The Matrix brass provided some 'insider' info on a few of the company's upcoming projects (CL, release of previous megacampaigns...a NEW SPWAW megacampaign Image ). They also mentioned that they would be checking in to the chat area more often.

Hey, Jess and Ross both posted announcements here: showthread.php?s=&threadid=40324

Your idea of scheduling future sessions is a good one.

I have a chat room to host at that time so I will drop in but will mainly be in the background, so expect a few long silences ;)

Here's a couple tips for those unfamiliar with the Matrix chat area:
  • right-clicking on the box where you type your messages brings up the 'smilies' and sounds.
  • to send a message direcltly to one person type their name, followed by a colon ( : ), and then the message. They'll see your message in colored text and it will be accompanied by a sound.
  • you can log in under any name you want (no password or account necessary).

Orzel,

Love the initiate, and time suggestion as well.

However, this Sunday at 3pm I will be in Denmark, putting up our camp in preparation for the Roskilde Festival. And drink lots of beer. :p

Have fun, and I'll jump in on next occasion! :D

As I have noted before.. I would love to attend, but due to a roleplaying session that was planned months ago (which is waaaaaaaay too long by my standards already) I may not be there.. I will have to look and see though. Perhaps I can attend in my evening/night hours (your late afternoon/beginning of evening?). I truely hate having to calculate the hour difference..

Very Slow Night At Work...

Post by Orzel Bialy »

Well, things are so slow that I'm taking an "extra" ten minute break for a soda. :D

So...I guess we aren't looking at a full attendance for this Sunday. Oh well, we'll run through it and see how it goes. ;)

Here I went...

Post by Orzel Bialy »

out of my way to try and help organize this thing...and now I'm going to be hard pressed to attend myself!!!

Until yesterday morning I thought the weekend was my own...but luckily my wife (whose capable hands I leave the task of remembering all the family event/dates) reminded me that we had a wedding anniversary party to attend. I was busy doing so many other things that the date slipped my mind completely. :(

So folks...I've been down in Indiana since yesterday afternoon (had a big cook-out / family gathering) and we are still here and in the process of getting ready to go to church ( my parents one request of all their heathen kids...lol. No church of NASCAR for me this sunday...:( ) and then attend a brunch.

Anyway...I don't know if I'll be still down here at the chat time or on the road. I'll do what I can to attend...but just wanted to send out the FYI.

OK...it's quickly becoming my turn to jump into the shower...hope to be able to talk to everyone later. :)
