Problems while running multiple PBEM's

Post by Big B »

Has anyone ever encountered anomalies when playing several different PBEM's simultaneously?

I have seen a few strange things happen (teleporting, etc), but this has only occured when playing several different PBEM's.... never when playing one dedicated PBEM at a time.

Just curious.

No, but I use multiple installations to keep them separate.

Maybe that's the key - separate installs.

No, but I use multiple installations to keep them separate.

The four big report text files, including the CR, are kept in the top level of the Save folder. They are overwritten by each new turn execution and are not kept separate for different games. If you play multiple games on the same install your OPs, CR, and Intel reports off the task bar are probably going to be for a different game than the turn you're currently executing.
