The German defenders lay out smoke that obscures the target.

Avoid combat, thanks.

No naval air.
A TRS loaded with one GARR sail from UK to Cape Verde Basin. CW send a convoy point to Cape St Vincent.
USA transfers two cruisers from the Pacific Fleet to the Atlantic Fleet. At once they begin to escort convoys along the East Coast.
HMS Barham initiates a search after enemy forces in the East Med.

Both forces have no clue were the enemy were in the East Med. (die rolls 7 and 10)

Neither side finds in the West Med (search rolls 6 and 4).
Allied decline to search in the two remaining sea areas.
Italy can activate in CSV. Will they?

Italy initiates, sub committed.
1st round target is CP using sub combat if possible.
I'm offline next 3 hours.

I logged in by phone and went to wrong page or something. There was a naval combat question and I answered to it. After noticing my error, I edited my post. True story [:D]

Impulse: 5 (Allied)
Land Movement (Cont)
The Soviets - obviously commanded by Field Marshall Ranieri - continue to tinker with their forces in the west.
In Manchuria, elements of Ivan Koniev's Far Eastern Front, spearheaded by the 4th Guards Mechanised Army, close in on the Manchurian corps defending the mountain passes leading to Harbin - the key road and rail junction in Manchuria. Meanwhile the weak 6th Infantry Army push south toward that vital town.
The Chinese Communists also tinker with their dispositions to allow for the withdrawal of the Chinese Nationalists.
Air Transport
None
Land Combat
One attack declared in Manchuria. No HQ support, but the Soviets bring in a bomber to bring the odds to 5:1 +2. Japan has the choice. Which will it be?

Looks like we've lost Mayhemizer and not seen AllenK so I will save it there for the evening. I was going to go for the assault table but its actually not that clear cut. With Blitzkrieg there are two chances of not losing a unit - with assault of course there is more chance of stopping the Soviets in their tracks.
