First screenshot from the mod will come out on Christmas Day

From Captain Janeway's Log

"Captain's Log, stardate 48412.8.

Three months after destroying the Caretaker and beginning our mission back to Earth, we were caught in a rip in space which suddenly appeared out of nowhere. While we were attempting to remove ourselves from the rip a saboteur on board stole a key piece of technology and transported themselves onto an unidentified ship nearby. Without that piece of technology our ship was unable to escape the space rip and we were thrown into an entirely new region of space.

We find ourselves crash landed on the surface of a planet with the ship completely drained of power. Without ship sensors we do not even know if we are still in the Delta Quadrant and we are facing the reality that we may be on this world for some time until we can find a way off this planet.

We have salvaged some parts from the ship and made a rudimentary camp nearby and with the abundant wildlife and water near our camp we should be able to survive our situation for the foreseeable future.

Every planet encountered by the Voyager and her crew in the Delta Quadrant has now been added to the mod.......

Now to add some alien species......

The cool thing about this mod is that you might encounter the Borg at the very beginning as the rip in space might have flung the Voyager deep into Borg space. This actually would not be great because you will not have the technology or defenses in place to prevent yourselves being assimilated.

I am still working through the concepts of interactions with the Borg however I do not believe the Borg would want to ally with any race in the Delta Quadrant and vice versa. Who knows.... this might lead to several allied races working together to wipe out the Borg.

Now to work on my next dilemma.... how does 7 of 9 fit into this mod?

Update on mod development:

I am managing to spend a few hours a day on this mod but my focus is specifically on my Kirk era mod.

One thing I am going through is how the Federation will appear in this mod..... will Voyager be the only ship as seen in the tv series or will other Federation ships be there.

That is a good question and I can confirm that in this mod Janeway no longer has access to the reset button.

Whatever happens in the mod is final and there is no magical button to reset everything to happier times.
