Extend to 1942-43

VR designs has been reinforced with designer Cameron Harris and the result is a revolutionary new operational war game 'Barbarossa' that plays like none other. It blends an advanced counter pushing engine with deep narrative, people management and in-depth semi-randomized decision systems.

Not meaning to knock Paradox, but as an enthusiastic wargame collector and player, even I shunned the latest iteration of HOI after struggling with earlier ones and reading the negative reviews about this new one on Steam.

I'm not saying the market is huge, but it's real and a well-designed game should still make money, IMHO.

Agreed on both points. Battlefield 1, a World War ONE FPS is getting rave reviews and (probably) making mountains of cash. Ultimate General is an example of excellent game-play in a great package that was in the top 5 Steam sales for awhile - in early access... Wargaming doesnt have to be defined by hex and counters - HOI 4 is a wargame, albeit a poor one.

Needless to say, DC:Barb and DC:CB are excellent designs, arguably (in my honest opinion) they should be in the top ten of current wargames on the computer.
