Okay, this is ahistorical!!

A major convoy just arrived in Cape Town and among its cargo is the following equipment: General Lee x 48. I happen to know for a fact that the '69 Dodge Charger wasn't available in June, 1942 - and especially not in a ratted out, beat up version in those numbers.

No help needed here. I expect those General Lees to jump over obstacles and give Sherriff Hogg-san all kinds of grief. And then return to base for some TLC from Barbara Bach.

You got it wrong - I was referring to the General Lees of the unit getting the TLC. Now that would be some "car" wash to watch!

And you are right - it was Catherine Bach. I never watched DoH much - too busy at the time and the episodes seemed all the same.

As for Barbara Bach, she was another femme fatale ...

The shorts, the shorts, it was all about the shorts. They even named 'em from the show, 'Daisy Dukes'. Ah, my misspent youth.[:D]

All right, now I know that these "General Lee" devices are Chrysler products. Last turn, just before the delivering TF left for the Atlantic ports one of the devices was already listed as disabled!

Chrysler products also have a rep for being easy to steal, so guard your tank laagers well!

Two points

1) Daisy Duke hasn't aged well

2) Why didn't Rosco just do a dawn raid to arrest the Dukes? Its not like he didn't know where they lived?

The Dukes of Hazard reference, or the reference for the M3 Lee, which the Soviets who drove the lend-lease version of the tanks affectionately called the "Coffin for the 7 Brothers?"
